The letter A is the least differentiated of all sounds, therefore Krishna says in the Gita “I am A among the letters”.[Source]
SWAMI VIVEKANANDA AND THE AGNOSTIC
There is this incident when the well-known agnostic, Ingersoll, spoke to Swami Vivekananda in America. He said, “Sir! Why are you unnecessarily speaking about God? We must enjoy life. We have only a short time to live; we must utilise it to enjoy life.” Swamiji laughed and replied, “I agree that we must enjoy life, but leisurely. Do not be in a hurry; do not ever be afraid of death. Be fearless. Just think of the relaxation that the Knowledge of the Self brings. It tells you—‘You are deathless; you are timeless. In eternity, you get established.’ I know that I am the Timeless. Hence I have no urgency, no hurry. Limitless time is before me.” (Source: Srimad Bhagavad Gita – Elixir of Eternal Wisdom | Vol 1)
