One day in Udbodhan House a woman disciple named Sailabala Chaudhury said to the Mother: “You are Mahamaya. You have deluded us and made us involved with our father, mother, husband, and children.” Immediately the Mother replied: “Don’t say that I have kept people deluded. I feel a terrible pain when I see the sufferings of worldly people. What can I do, my child? They don’t want liberation.”
