Swami Rameswarananda recalled:
In 1916-17 I used to perform worship in the shrine. One day Swami Premananda asked me: “Is the clothing of the Master okay? My boy, look carefully. After offering a new cloth to the Master, I was about to put it on; then the Master told me through a vision, ‘Baburam, you are going to have a new cloth, and my shirt is torn. Don’t you love me anymore?’ Then both of us went to the shrine and found that the Master’s shirt had been chewed by a mouse.” (Source: God Lived with Them)
The Mother saw the Master not only in the waking state but in the dream state also. Once in Jayrambati someone worshipped the Master at noon. After lunch the Mother went to bed to take some rest. In a dream, she saw the Master lying on the floor. She asked, “Why are you lying on the floor?” Her sleep broke. She looked at the altar and found that some flowers were touching the Master’s picture and some ants were crawling over his picture. She immediately removed those flowers and cautioned the worshipper to be more careful in the future. (Source: Sri Sarada Devi and Her Divine Play)
