प्राणे तृप्यति चक्षुस्तृप्यति चक्षुषि तृप्यत्यादित्यस्तृप्यत्यादित्ये तृप्यति द्यौस्तृप्यति दिवि तृप्यन्त्यां यत्किंच द्यौश्चादित्यश्चाधितिष्ठतस्तत्तृप्यति तस्यानुतृप्तिं तृप्यति प्रजया पशुभिरन्नाद्येन तेजसा ब्रह्मवर्चसेनेति ॥ ५.१९.२ ॥
॥ इति एकोनविंशः खण्डः ॥prāṇe tṛpyati cakṣustṛpyati cakṣuṣi tṛpyatyādityastṛpyatyāditye tṛpyati dyaustṛpyati divi tṛpyantyāṃ yatkiṃca dyauścādityaścādhitiṣṭhatastattṛpyati tasyānutṛptiṃ tṛpyati prajayā paśubhirannādyena tejasā brahmavarcaseneti || 5.19.2 ||

When prāṇa is pleased, the eye is pleased; when the eye is pleased, the sun is pleased; when the sun is pleased, heaven is pleased; when heaven is pleased, whatever there is ruled by heaven and the sun is pleased. Then when that is pleased, the eater derives pleasure from his children, from his animals, from an abundance of food, from physical strength, and from his good life and scholarship.
